About Me

I've spent 25 years doing one thing really well: making sure enterprise applications perform under pressure. Based in the Chicagoland area, I work as an independent consultant through QA Solutions Contracting, Inc. — my S-Corp that allows me to partner directly with vendors, boutique firms, and enterprise clients across the country.

My specialty is performance testing for complex, high-stakes environments — particularly in the energy and utility sector, where a billing system failure doesn't just inconvenience customers, it triggers regulatory consequences. I've led performance testing engagements for some of the largest utilities in the country, including PSEG, DTE Energy, and PECO. Beyond performance testing, I bring deep expertise in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM/Quality Center) — including custom OTA workflow development, enterprise reporting, and ALM upgrades and migrations. I've built Performance Testing Centers of Excellence from the ground up at multiple organizations.

Before moving into testing, I spent seven years as a Senior C Programmer — a background that directly enables the deep custom scripting work I do in LoadRunner today.

I hold a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (double major in Mathematics and Computer Science) and a Master of Science from DePaul University with a specialty in Database Technologies.
